Despite criticism on anti-drugs operations and the allegations that he misdisclerated his wealth, President Rodrigo Duterte retained “big majority” approval and trust ratings, making him still the most trusted and most approved among government officials.
The poll, which was conducted between September 24 and 30, showed 80 percent both on trust and approval ratings, which slightly dipped from June’s survey where Duterte received 81 percent trust and 80 percent approval scores.
1,200 respondents took part in the poll which has been conducted in the National Capital Region, Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
On the other hand, Vice President Leni Robredo also scored majority and trust, with 57 and 55 percent, respectively. So did Senate President Aquilino Pimentel III, with 55 and 52 percent ratings, respectively.
Meanwhile, House Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez received 47 percent trust and 49 percent approval scores.
Supreme Court Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno scored 43 percent trust and 44 percent approval ratings.
