April Joy Fernandez, a Filipina flight attendant in Saudi Arabia. Since she was a kid, he dreamed to be a flight attendant and through her hard work, she was able to reach her dream after joining Saudi Arabia’s official airlines Saudia’s crew.

However, Joy was diagnosed with leukemia at a very young age that prevented her from experiencing more in her life as a stewardess.

According to a Saudia official, after discovering that she’s dying too soon, she requested her family bury her in the Saudia uniform because she loved her job with the airlines. She knew that she didn’t have much time to wear her uniform for the last time.

“Joy died of leukemia. Before her death, she asked her family to bury her in the Saudia uniform because she loved her job. This is very impressive loyalty.”Joy was a lovable and joyful person to those who are closed to her. Her colleagues known her as a devoted employee and vocal about how much she loved her work. Her employers were also saddened by the news as well. Joy died back in 2015 but her story remained inspiring people.

According to ‘Ajel’ newspaper, Saudia’s assistant general manager for public relations Abdul Rahman Al Fahd said on his Twitter page, “Goodbye, Joy.”
